The HDM1 has been specifically designed in a low cost stand alone case for convertingexisting HDMI/DVI output from any source into a single High Definition ‘Freeview’ compatibledigital multiplex for further distribution and viewable on any ‘Freeview’ HD tuner equippedtelevision.
The HDM1 works by offering the incoming HDMI signal into an MPEG-4 encoder whereby thesignal is then modulated into a standard 8MHz COFDM multiplex.
Programmed via the front panel, a simple menu based setup screen allows the titling (up to15 characters) and channel numbering with a whole host of extra features, such as channeltuning and level adjustment.
Use for creating DVB-T from a multitude of HDMI/DVI sources including: satellite receivers,computers, Blu-ray players, media and digital signage players.
