The four universal inputs can be individually configured to receive DVB-T/T2, DVB-S/S2 or DVB-C sources. Full DiSEqC functionality is offered allowing the unit to drive up to 4 different LNB’s. After transmodulation to either DVB-T or DVB-C each of the independent multiplexes can be allocated within the 47-862MHz band without the need for channel bonding meaning the new services can be slotted into the gaps of a complex ‘off the air’ channel pattern. A pair of CAM slots are provided in the event that decryption is required. A maximum output level of 85dBuV is offered.
Set up is possible using a PC alone or further aided by the Ikusi Headend Discovery toolkit allowing the easy creation of a channel line up. Generation and insertion of all the necessary tables of the transport stream takes place within the device.
Alternatively the output can be offered as IPTV services up to 64 SPTS or 4 MPTS. A total of 850Mbps is available via a front facing RJ-45 connector.
